My Testimony

I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint's is the True Church on the Earth today. That it is the same church that was established on the Earth when Jesus Christ lived on the Earth. That the church was taken away from the Earth after all of the Apostles of Christ had been Martyred. The earth was with out enlightenment and truth of the Lord and Jesus Christ. And I know that in 1820 God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith in the grove of trees in New York and told him to join none of the church, for they are all wrong, and only spake with their mouths with their hearts far from him. They called him to be a Prophet of the last dispensation of times, that he was to restore Christ's church back onto the earth for the gathering of Israel. I know that he was also called to translate the Book of Mormon. I know that the contents of the book are true, that it is truly another testament of Jesus Christ of the people in Ancient America. That Christ did come to the America's to preach and minister unto the ancient Americans. I know that Thomas S. Monson is our living Prophet today to continue to lead and council the Latter-Day Saints to continue to follow steadfast in the the path of Christ. I know missionary work is one of the greatest sacrifices that anyone could make to help gather the the tribes of Israel. With out the hard work of the Missionaries, the tribes of Israel will be lost forever. I know that the blessings of the Temple are real, and the covenants we make with in the walls of the Lord's House are very sacred, and very special and wish that we all could make the Temple a major priority in our schedules even if it is once a month. I know within these walls families are sealed together for all time and eternity, a bond that cannot be severed. I am thankful to be a member of this church, to serve the Lord in gathering the house of Israel. I am thankful for the blessings of my decision to be a member, to serve a mission and to be sealed to my family. I say these things in the name of my Lord, Redeemer and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen
